A series of books on philosophy

Our goal was to create a cover that arouses interest and curiosity in readers, and conveys the basic idea that only philosophy can reveal the real world.
Creating a design for a series of books based on the myth of Plato's cave was an important challenge. The basic allegory of this myth is the notion that people live and see only a shadow of the real world, they are in their caves, unknowing and limited. Only philosophy can help them see and understand the real world.
In this context, the cover of the book plays an important role as it is the first thing that catches the readers' attention. We aimed to create a cover that could attract attention and convey the atmosphere of the cave. To do this, we used colors and composition to create a sense of the darkness of the cave, but added bright colors to symbolize the light of the real world.
While working on the design, we also took into account that it was important to keep a balance between the dark atmosphere of the cave and the visual appeal of the cover. We used an attractive font and well-chosen illustrative material.
